For the first time, I’m going to be teaching a class with my colleague and friend Amy Johnson, about how to experience ease by doing nothing
this Wednesday, January 22 @ 12pm EST/ 9a.m. PST.
Best news is – it’s free!!
It’s a first for me on many fronts.
First time I’m co-teaching a class.
First time I’m talking about a wider context than ease with our bodies and our eating.
The more I practice, the more I find that the key to struggle-free weight loss and maintenance is a life fully lived, with awareness and consciousness of the inner workings 0f our mind.
I have yearned, all my life, to live with ease and peace,
no matter what’s happening around me,
and to help others do the same.
I’ve experimented with so many different techniques and modalities
And every time I learn something new, it takes me to greater simplicity.
Amy has been a companion with me on this discovery
and has challenged me, in her writing and our discussions,
to distil the path to ease further and further.
We don’t always completely agree on everything
(so look forward to some interesting debates in class!),
but we are both convinced that our thoughts cause our feelings,
or, as Amy eloquently puts it, “we are always feeling our thinking”.
During our free class, we’ll be talking about what to do with all this feeling that we’re feeling, and those thoughts we’re thinking.
It’s really simple.
And so challenging.
