Once we hit perimenopause, usually around our forties, our hormones start to play games with us.
I thought it was just our sex hormones, like progesterone, estrogen and testosterone.
But I’ve been diving into the whole field of hormones and weight loss,
And I’ve learned that the hormones that govern our hunger, satiety and fat burning
can also go awry during midlife which makes weight loss during perimenopause more challenging.
Which makes sense, doesn’t it?
We’re really one intricately connected and exquisitely calibrated being,
So our best results happen when we do what it takes to maintain this perfection.
